This person will consult with the customer to identify the impact of the Spacelabs system on their network and identify what is required to ensure the network is capable and optimized for Spacelabs. The position will also assist in advanced level troubleshooting of network related customer issues. Must participate in an on-call rotation as scheduled and must perform after-hours support. Responsibilities Network Implementation and Troubleshooting - Design, create and maintain VPNs between various AWS environments and on-premises environments providing expert assistance to the customers in support of the configuration of customer network equipment to support the Spacelabs system. Assisting in the Resolution of properly escalated Customer Issues - Providing a third tier of expert support for networking issues not resolved by Field or Global Tech Support Teams. Actively managing and monitoring the performance of AWS network service- Facilitating the smooth transition of such issues to R&D or Operations. Implementing subnets, DNS, firewall, and VPN services - Working closely with Sr. Network Architect to establish, configure and maintain an appropriate networking infrastructure. Provision, configure and support various Amazon Web Services (AWS) (e.g., EC2, VPNs, ELBs, RDSs, account access, security groups, route tables, subnets, NACLs). Provide top- level network support within defined SLAs - Working closely with Sr. Network Architect to establish, configure and maintain an appropriate networking infrastructure. years of experience with AWS environment, operations and automation is preferred. Experience with security in the cloud:
Intrusion, penetration, and vulnerability scanning is preferred. Experience with CloudWatch (AWS) or equivalents in GCP or Azure is preferred. Experience with AWS network topology and services (Multi account/VPC environments that are integrated via AWS transit gateway, Direct Connects/VPNs connecting to physical locations). Experience with WAN routing concepts and equipment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to work in a time-critical environment and be decisive when faced with complex problems. Experience in the deployment of multicast routing in large scale network environments a plus. Experience Juniper and Aruba network hardware and software a plus. VMware Virtual Machine experience preferred. Knowledge of UNIX/Linux based network management tools a plus.
