As a Front Desk team member, you will help check patients in/out, updating insurance information, create/review treatment planning and learn about financial payments and agreements and act as a liaison between the practice and insurance companies.
You will take part in reviewing Accounts Receivable and help maintain accounts in good standing.
A front office worker must demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Obtain and update insurance breakdown of benefits Review and enter insurance payments Balance payment records Maintain patient insurance benefit profiles Review and manage financial agreements Maintain AR under set goal Scheduling Checking patients in and out.
Posting charges Posting payments Recall Treatment planning Requirements/Competencies Billing experience is a plus.
Knowledge of dental procedures preferred.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
General knowledge of proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
Effective verbal skills to communicate with patients, parents, doctors, and staff, in person and on the telephone.
Ability to work on multiple projects at once.
Ability to work both independently and cooperatively in a team setting.
