0 OBJECTIVE
Summary:
Provides office and administrative support for all activities in Human Resources.
Functions as general information conduit for inquiries ensuring excellent customer service.
Essential Functions:
Performs a variety of routine general office tasks to include filing, auditing, scanning, interoffice mail, records retention, and general office.
Conducts new hire credentialing process by obtaining initial records for newly hired employees and contractors.
Coordinates onboarding schedule and training Assigns standardized training for new hires and contractors in LMS Gathers, documents, and enters information via BambooHR for new employees, students, and volunteers, including pay, title, status, benefits, FTE, and other human resources-related data.
Assists in obtaining and managing records.
Reviews and corrects data that is to be entered into the HRIS system.
Assists in furnishing confidential information for audits, references, and other purposes in accordance with legal requirements and hospital policy.
Creates standardized reports for HR, such as FTE audits, exit interview responses, and annual education Point of contact for schools for student placement/rotation.
Maintains and coordinates employee recognition programs Support the planning and execution of employee events.
Performs other duties as assigned.
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
Two year post High School Technical School degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field, with a four-year college degree preferred.
REQUIRED
Experience:
A minimum of two years of experience in related field.
SKILLS:
Strong organizational skills, the ability to make sound decisions, and a keyboarding skill of 40 words per minute.
High level of analytical ability required to gather and interpret information from departments regarding personnel/payroll, benefits, or position control documentation.
Substantial level of interpersonal skills required to deal effectively with employees and department representatives, including instruction of users in the completion of paperwork.
Work is performed in accordance with established procedures, incumbents are expected to maintain confidentiality of all data, prioritize assignments, deviate from schedules, or alter the sequence of steps as necessary to obtain desired results.
Work requires the ability to read, write and speak English well enough to complete assigned tasks and communicate effectively.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Normal office environment where there is little exposure (less than 6% of work time) to adverse/hazardous working conditions.
Work is subject to interruptions, which can produce stress and mental fatigue.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
High level of mental/visual effort required to assure accuracy of information entered the computer systems.
Light level of physical effort required for a variety of physical activity to include walking, standing, and sitting at workstation.
