Summary:
The Quality Data Analyst supports the role of Quality that contributes to an environment of safe, quality patient care and outcomes.
The role serves as systems administration for all Quality reporting systems, and includes data abstraction, collection, tracking, and trending.
The position supports documentation of Quality requirements at the department level, that is delegated to managers and other project leaders.
The position also supports other compliance and regulatory needs as they arise, such as survey, audit, and risk mitigation processes.
Essential Functions:
Serves as Administrator for Quality reporting systems organization wide including training new managers, may assign event leaders, monitor for timely event closure, generate reports, and manages benchmarking data to develop dashboards, metrics and reports as needed Develop tools to support Quality initiatives at SVH (i.

data dashboards, SVH branded Charters, RCA tools, among others) With Director or other organizational leader, prepares reports, submits and monitors DOH reportable events Assist in data extraction from EMR and other sources for Quality Improvement activities of the QI department and District staff Identify charts for Peer Review activities Supports the reporting required for monthly Quality meetings per CMS guidelines Records minutes for Committees that involve Quality reporting Other specific activities that are appropriate with the general position summary REQUIRED EDUCATION:
At least three years experience in a quality role in a health care organization At least one year experience with an EHR REQUIRED
Experience:
Training and experience in software system administration PREFERRED

Minimum one year of previous experience in a hospital or institution WORK ENVIRONMENT:
