Spacelabs Healthcare connects the needs of caregivers and their patients with real-life integrated solutions to deliver the highest quality patient care as efficiently as possible. The Application Software team is looking for a software developer to make our vision a reality on a variety of platforms, including Windows and Windows Embedded. You should be a strong developer with excellent native and managed code skills and have developed and shipped commercial software products. Experience with developing and shipping APIs and SDKs would be a plus.
Accomplish assigned tasks with minimal supervision.
Demonstrate good documentation discipline, both inline and in architecture and design documentation.
Complete assigned tasks on-time and in accordance with the appropriate process.
Creatively and proactively address problems and find algorithm improvements.
Participate in technical reviews to ensure product quality.
Find creative solutions to broadly defined problems or directives.
Analysis of marketing requirements.
Participate in and/or lead design efforts.
Create and test quality software personally and as part of a team.
Foster good communication inside and outside the development team.
Lead technical reviews of project software deliverables.
Estimate time and effort on projects and tasks.

It is the responsibility of every Spacelabs Healthcare employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.
Duties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.
The ideal candidate will have:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience
Minimum of five years of experience in Software Development, including the shipping of at least two commercial products.
Fluent in C++ and C#
Demonstrated ability to independently accomplish assigned tasks and work with others.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Good documentation and process discipline.
The ability to function effectively in a multi-discipline team environment is required.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
