Purchasing Supervisor

Summary Manage purchasing team; provide support, guidance, education and encouragement in support of  company policies and goals Assist in developing and recommending procurement strategies to improve operational efficiencies and promote improved profitability Update and maintain documented procedures and work instructions Provide reports and analyze data in support of cost, quality and delivery metrics Problem solve and recommend process improvements Support Cross Functional processes; develop strong internal customer service with Quality, Engineering, Production, Finance, Sales and Materials teams Skills: Strong leadership skills; coaching, teaching, providing continuous feedback to develop the team Extensive experience in procurement processes including inventory planning, item settings, RFQ, blanket PO's, MRB, RTV, VMI, variances, contracts Strong analytical and problem solving skills; dedicated to continuous process improvement Demonstrate independent judgment and initiative Strong organizational and project management skills combined with a close attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Working knowledge, including implementation, of MRP systems Experience with SOX (Sarbanes Oxley) compliance policies Power BI report writing and databaseexperience Knowledge or experience in glass, window or door manufacturing a plus Education: 7+ years of related experience in manufacturing, procurement and material management B.S. Degree in Supply Chain preferred, additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree APICS certification preferred. JR11126

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
