Summary Responsible for the design and development of new and improved fire-rated and non-fire-rated architectural door, window, curtain-wall, and related specialty glazing products.  Support New Product Engineering deliverables, i.e. supporting business case development, concept generation, design development, design analysis, creating formal documentation, testing and other assigned engineering tasks. Individual will be responsible for design, analysis, development and launch and maintenance and adherence to engineering schedule. The key responsibilities of this position are abilities to translate customer needs into specification, resolve issues related to the design development and work well with team. Duties and responsibilities May possess and demonstrate advanced knowledge in a specialized field and broad knowledge of several related disciplines within a function. May provide day-to-day direction and oversight for other employees. Has a solid knowledge of product category, understanding larger system aspects. Masters defined and communicated engineering and cross functional processes, standards, methods, and procedures. Demonstrated proficiency in work practices, standards, processes. Effective written, verbal and presentations skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and concepts. Demonstrated ability to collaborate, negotiate and work within a team environment. Ability to think on your feet, assess problems, and lead others to find solutions. Responsible for managing and completing significant projects involving multiple component and subsystems. First point of contact within engineering with external customer.  Resolves external customer issues at advanced engineering level.  Lead customer presentations. Works with general direction.  Identifies & manages many of own assignments. Skilled at customer presentations and communicating and influencing internal customers (across functions and upwards).  Documentation is professional and frequent with virtually all technical work formally captured. Able to apply several engineering concepts and develop/derive new solutions for a specific problem.  Able to quickly generate numerous alternative solution paths, and objectively down-select to several technically promising alternatives based on sound reasoning. Bachelor degree in mechanical engineering, agricultural engineering, engineering science, or equivalent from an ABET accredited university. Demonstrated experience executing mechanical system design under little to no supervision. Demonstrated ability to develop mechanical concepts to address specific problems and business opportunities through the application of best engineering practices and engineering principles. Proficiency with engineering tools including FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, GD&T, Tolerance Stack Analysis & DFM/DFA. Support existing and new distributors and partners; this will include support in the development and maintenance of design and fabrication documentation, UL compliance and maintenance, and technical guidance and training Perform other functions as assigned. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
